*Our Jeep of the Month for November 2019 is by Bruce, AKA: @bglaplant.
"I bought my 2004 TJ in 2014 as a "post-retirement" toy. Not a surprise, what I bought on eBay was a disappointment by the time I trailered it home.
The Jeep had been thoroughly abused. It had a terrible death wobble, parts were missing or installed wrong, control arms were bent, and the front/rear differentials had different gearing.
The whole chassis has since been rebuilt to include slip yoke eliminator and clutch, new ball joints and forward U joints; Core 4x4 control arms, Synergy tie rod, full exhaust to include catalytic converters and more.
Most recently, the Smittybuilt XRC bumpers, some paintwork, Metal Cloak fenders, and rock rails have been added. It took a bit of work and a few bucks, but the Jeep now runs great. Next up are some 35's.
I've had a great time working on the Jeep."
