Hi, this is only my second post on this forum, and as my 2011 Grand Cherokee ltd has passed 50K miles I've decided to put a set of machine grooved and slotted rotors on the front and rear with ceramic pads.
I bought Power Stop as they were recommended on another Jeep forum. Has anybody else done this? All my motorcycles have slotted rotors and ceramic brakes and work quite well. The basic Jeep rotors do a decent job but seem to suffer from slight warping because of the serious cold we get in upstate NY, when you are braking steadily on hills and splash through a salty pothole splashing quite hot rotors with liquid that is well below 20F.
Any advice would be appreciated. The extra cost was less than $100 per axle at most. Purchased through Amazon.
